According to the inaugural report of the American Growth Project, Dallas-Fort Worth will finish as the fifth-fastest growing economy in the country this year. This growth is partly due to the region's strong job market and population growth, which has attracted new residents and businesses.
"The region's persistent attractiveness to new migrants is likely due — at least in part — to its diversity and strength across industries," the researchers included.
The study ranked cities based on GDP gains over the year, hoping to better understand where the country's economy is at this stage of the pandemic recovery. In addition, the institute hopes to get an even closer look by studying other areas, such as industry growth potential, skill levels, and labor flexibility.
Despite signs that the rapid pandemic recovery is slowing, Dallas is still on track to exceed 4 percent job growth for the year. This is a good sign for multifamily investors, as it indicates economic vibrancy for the city heading into the new year. Read the full article on The Dallas Morning News.
Christmas gifts for our community!
By now, you're probably familiar with our networking event, Jazz N' Apartments. However, our last Jazz N' Apartments of the year was an extra special event with a festive Christmas twist! Our guests each brought holiday toys for us to donate to one of our properties for Christmas.
One of our missions is to take care of our properties and the people who live there. This enriches their lives, creates a sense of community, and encourages residents to take care of the property. This benefits everyone involved, including our investors.
This month, we provided a Christmas-themed coloring sheet for the kids at Miramar to design however they wanted. Each kid who brings back their artwork will get an early Christmas present!
